Sugar - Spiced Nuts

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 2 (12 ounce) cans 5 cups total mixed nuts
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice

Directions

  • 1 Grease a 15*10*1-inch baking pan. Set pan aside.
  • 2 In a large mixing bowl beat egg white and water till frothy.
  • 3 Add the nuts and toss to coat.
  • 4 Combine sugar and pumpkin pie spice.
  • 5 Sprinkle over the nuts; toss to coat.
  • 6 Spread nuts in a single layer in the prepared baking pan.
  • 7 Bake in a 325 degree oven for 20 minutes.
  • 8 Cool slightly in pan.
  • 9 Transfer to waxed paper to cool.
  • 10 Break into clusters.
  • 11 Store tightly covered up to 1 week.
