Mango Flavored Syrup for Soft Drinks

  • 8 ounces mangoes, peeled, pitted and chopped into large chunks (can use frozen mango, thawed)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • club soda or seltzer water


  • 1 Combine chopped mango, sugar, vanilla extract and pinch salt in a food processor or blender. Puree fruit mixture, adding 2 tablespoons orange juice to loosen.
  • 2 Strain into small pitcher. Refrigerate until needed.
  • 3 Mix mango syrup with club soda or seltzer to desired strength for delicious flavored soft drink.
