Aaloo Fry (Spicy Fried Potatoes)

Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes (peeled,sliced thinly but not paper thin)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- oil (for deep frying)
Directions
- 1 After washing potatoes, add spices (except salt if not frying immediately otherwise it will draw water).
- 2 Toss potatoes in spices until well coated.
- 3 Heat oil in saucepan.
- 4 When oil medium hot, add salt to potatoes and fry in batches until potatoes develop a crisp outer layer to it but soft inside.
- 5 Drain and serve hot with dhal.
