Brown Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine, sofened
• 1 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/8 teaspoon salt

Directions

• 1 Cream butter and sugar together well.
• 2 Beat in egg and vanilla.
• 3 Stir flour, soda and salt together and add.
• 4 Mix well Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
• 5 Bake in 350 degree oven for 6-8 minutes.
• 6 Makes about 4 dozen.
