Baked Creamed Cabbage

Ingredients
- 1 medium cabbage
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Directions
- 1 Shred cabbage and cook for 9 minutes in boiling water.
- 2 Remove cabbage and drain well.
- 3 Place in 1 1/2 quart buttered casserole.
- 4 Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in flour and salt and cook until smooth.
- 5 Add milk gradually, stirring until thick.
- 6 Pour sauce over cabbage and sprinkle bread crumbs over top.
- 7 Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until crumbs are brown.
