Ingredients
- 1/3-1/2 cup salsa, your favorite
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup long grain white rice, uncooked
- 1 3/4 cups water
Directions
- 1 In a saucepan, bring salsa, salt, and water to a boil.
- 2 Add rice and stir.
- 3 Cover and reduce heat to medium-low.
- 4 Simmer until the liquid is absorbed and rice is tender, about 15 minutes.
- 5 Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 7 to 10 minutes.
- 6 Fluff with fork before serving.
