Sardine Pate Appetizers

Ingredients
- 2 (3 3/4 ounce) cans sardines, in water, drained
- 1/4 cup green onion, minced finely
- 1/4 cup plain fat-free yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1 1/2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
- 1/3 cup carrot, finely shredded
- 30 pieces melba toast
Directions
- 1 Place sardines in a bowl; mash with a fork.
- 2 Add onions, yogurt, lemon juice, dill and horseradish to your taste (I use 1 tsp).
- 3 Stir well.
- 4 Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
- 5 Spread 2 teaspoons over each melba toast; top with shredded carrots.
- 6 Serve immediately.
