Ingredients
- 2 lbs rutabagas
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups water
Directions
- 1 Carefully peel wax and skin from rutabagas.
- 2 Slice into 1/2 inch rounds.
- 3 Place stack of rounds on board and dice into 1/2 inch cubes.
- 4 Bring water, rutabagas, and salt to a boil.
- 5 Simmer gently 45 minutes to one hour.
- 6 Drain and serve in warmed covered dish.
