Butterscotch Apple Pie

Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup tap water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 6 cups sliced apples
  • 1/4 cup flour

Directions

  • 1 Melt butter; add flour, sugar and hot water.
  • 2 Cook until thick; add apples.
  • 3 Cook until tender; add vanilla.
  • 4 Put in baked pie shell; cool.
  • 5 Serve with whipped cream.
  • 6 Bake shell ahead of time.
  • 7 I have not tried this yet.
