Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup tap water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 6 cups sliced apples
- 1/4 cup flour
Directions
- 1 Melt butter; add flour, sugar and hot water.
- 2 Cook until thick; add apples.
- 3 Cook until tender; add vanilla.
- 4 Put in baked pie shell; cool.
- 5 Serve with whipped cream.
- 6 Bake shell ahead of time.
- 7 I have not tried this yet.
